Mike Hardinger
Mike was raised in the Midwest United States and since childhood has owned horses and been involved in horse-related activities. His early experiences included owning and riding game ponies, cutting horses, and participating in western pleasure activities. Mike, and his wife Cara have owned horse properties in Unionville Pennsylvania, Wilmington Delaware, Austin Texas, Oakville Ontario, and several cities in the Midwest. In 1978, while residing in Canada, Mike was introduced to foxhunting, caught the fever, and has been foxhunting ever since.
The Hardingers designed and built their current farm. The farm borders the Walthour- Moss Foundation, the home territory of “The Moore County Hounds”. These experiences provide Mike with firsthand knowledge of what works well in this area regarding farm layouts, access to water, fencing, and associated issues of building or improving horse- related properties. The Hardingers have owned their current horse farm since 1992, and in 2001 returned to live in the Southern Pines area full time.
Mike has been a Vice President and General Manager of E.I. DuPont and Chairman and CEO of a public technology company. He has been involved in the local real estate market as a licensed broker and investor for eight years. In 2007, a group of top local Realtors launched FrontGate Properties. FrontGate Properties, in just one year, has become a major player in all aspects of real estate in Moore County, and we are thrilled to announce as of December 2008, we have been awarded our Keller Williams Realty franchise. Mike is the Operating Principal of the Company.
Tammy Lyne
Tammy Olson Lyne (pronounced line) grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA and had dreams of owning a horse and living on a farm. She was around horses from an early age because her father was a farrier and her grandparents owned a farm where local western and 4-H shows were held.
Tammy moved to the area in 1983 and her dream of owning a horse farm became a reality. Since that time Tammy has acted as her own contractor in the remodeling, design, construction and development of her family’s horse farms. She currently resides on a 32 acre horse farm bordering the NC Game Lands in the Foxfire area with her husband, 3 children and 4 horses. Tammy’s husband, Greg, is also a Realtor and the owner/manager of Lyne’s Furniture Gallery in Pinehurst and the Lyne’s Den in Southern Pines. Tammy’s oldest daughter competes in the hunter/jumpers and Tammy enjoys breeding/raising warm bloods and trail riding. Her farm was the first certified “Rescue Farm” for malnourished or mistreated horses in Moore County.
Tammy has been involved in all aspects of the local real estate market since 1987. She was one of the first state-certified appraisers in the area and is listed in the National Registry of Certified Appraisers. She has served as an expert witness regarding real estate valuations and is consistently ranked among the top 5% of local Realtors in total sales volume. Tammy’s vast sales experience includes the listing, sale and development of large commercial properties, horse farms and residences. Tammy has experience and thorough knowledge of complex property transactions, 1031 exchanges and conservation easements. She is a supporter of SALT and has donated land for conservation easements to the Sandhills Area Land Trust. Tammy is the Designated Realtor and an owner/partner at Keller Williams Realty, and was recently awarded the number one Top Producer Award at Keller Williams Realty.
